The handler pulls the metal trigger while holding the aluminum pistol grip to activate the metal tongs to grasp the catch. No mater how tight you hold the trigger the catch-snake- will not be injuried even though it is being held very securely for safe carrying to a new location or for placing it in a container for transport.
