Our saw heads have teeth in the heel of the head that interlock with the teeth in the heel of our blades, to give you over 13 true locking angles of the saw blade-this saves you from having to twist your body in difficult angles to reach those hard to reach branches. Addtionally our number 1 head is slightly heavier one piece all aluminum to hold in the cut better when reaching over head and eliminates some of the saw bounce or the need to hold down on the blade as you pull the saw- which is not a comfortable body action, causing body fatigue quicker. It also is designed to pull down those larger branches that get hung up on other branches when falling.

Our 1A or 1B saw heads can be used with a pole or without as a hand saw.
